Manhole Project 082409
So today is a new project. How long will it take for the City of Alexandria to fix a manhole problem on Duke street in the block of 1601 right across from the National Mail Carriers Association. It took me 20 minutes to report the problem. I went through a short run around and an unanswered phone. If you are over there be careful! And don’t forget to walk around manholes you never know what is awaiting you on the other side.

Could you name all of your friends in the world with confidence? The ones who will be with you no matter what. Through the good times and bad; money or no money; man or girl or no man or no girl; confusing I know but do we know what real friendship means anymore. Some friends come for a season others last a lifetime. I question this all the time because I don’t know if I have had more than two in my whole life. Family does not count in this number. Maybe onereally knows who I am. Even then sometimes I question this.
True everyone should not know who you truly are. The parts that you keep secret are your most powerful asset. I was talking to my classmate the other day and she was talking to one of her friends about relationships. They came to the conclusion that you only connect with 5% of the people you meet in life. These people you should try to know. Everyone else is deemed as someone you see on occassion. Someone that kind of lives in your world.
If you haven’t re-evaluated your relationships lately think about it now. If you find the person you may think is your best friend would not realize your absence, then you may not be their 5% connection. If so, move them down the list and learn more about your 5% until you create a trusted circle of friends.
